About Us
Like many families in early America, the Yoakum family headed west seeking better farming land and opportunities. In the early 1900s, Yoakum family members from Missouri and Texas settled in central Oklahoma, mainly in the Pauls Valley and Paoli area, raising crops and cattle. As our family grew, so did our dreams and ambitions, taking us in different directions and to new locations, including Longmont, Colorado.
We continue to build upon the hard work and principles of our previous generations, expanding our pursuit of livelihood to include land development and retail sales, in addition to our longstanding commitment to agricultural production. The Yoakum agricultural business continues in Colorado and Oklahoma, now combined with our residential developments. Both Meadow Green Farm and Eastridge Country Estates are surrounded by active farmland, enriched by Yoakum heritage.
